Kudos to #MSKHealthcareHeroes

Earlier this year, MSK Library decided to add a “kudos” category to our blog in order to feature positive feedback we’ve received from our users. At this time, we would like to highlight the dedicated and compassionate #MSKHealthcareHeroes. We encourage you to follow the #MSKHealthcareHeroes hashtag on Twitter and Instagram.

To the MSK Nurses, doctors, security guards, cleaning staff, clinical assistants, jitney drivers, patient transporters, chaplains, gift shop workers, care coordinators, facilities workers, counselors, food services staff, childcare providers, technicians, social workers, pharmacy staff, session assistants, and more, all we can say is THANK YOU.

New at the Library – Infectious diseases : the clinician’s guide to diagnosis, treatment, and prevention

The Library has recently added a new eBook, available now via OneSearch: Infectious diseases : the clinician’s guide to diagnosis, treatment, and prevention. This title has been created to provide up to date medical information, and even has a section on COVID-19.

This book contains the infectious disease information and any pertinent chapters from Decker: Medicine. The authors state that “the text represents the authors’ approaches to clinical problems and to other important issues in medical practice. It should be used as a general reference with other sources in the formation of an integrated care plan.” This eBook covers a range of infectious diseases topics, including upper respiratory infections, STDs, and meningitis along with viral, bacterial and fungal infections.
