New Database: DrugBank Online

DrugBank Online is a comprehensive database containing information on drugs and drug targets. This bioinformatics and cheminformatics database combines detailed drug (i.e. chemical, pharmacological and pharmaceutical) data with comprehensive drug target (i.e. sequence, structure, and pathway) information. 

DrugBank Online is offered to the public as a free-to-access resource. Use and re-distribution of the content of DrugBank Online or the DrugBank Data, in whole or in part, for any purpose requires a license. Academic users may apply for a free license for certain use cases and all other users require a paid license.  If you have any questions regarding this resource, don’t hesitate to ASK US!

New Database! iThenticate

The MSK Library provides all MSK staff with access to plagiarism detection software through iThenticate.

iThenticate is a tool for researchers and writers to check their original works for potential plagiarism. This database will check against 93% of Top Cited Journal content and 70+ billion current and archived web pages.

New Database: Red Book Online

The Library has added a new database, Micromedex’s Red Book Online. Users can search for prescription or over the counter medications, nutraceuticals, bulk chemicals, medical devices or supplies by product name or manufacturer. One can also search for a specific active ingredient in the product or by a specific code (such as NDC, UPC, or HRI).
