Try the Citation Linker When Looking for the Full Text of an Article

If you are looking to access the full text of an article and you already have the citation information, our Citation Linker service is a great option. You can regularly access it from the Article Tab on the MSK Library website (see the link below the search box). Depending on how much information you enter, you can access a journal, issue, or specific article. If we do not have a subscription to a particular article, it will direct you to Document Delivery Services, where it will fill out the form with the information that you entered, and the article will be delivered to you when it is available.

RefWorks – An Alternative to Endnote

RefWorks is a web-based bibliographic citation management tool that the MSK Library subscribes to, in addition to Endnote. One advantage of RefWorks is that there is no software to download or have added to your MSK account.

All you need to do to use RefWorks is to register for an account using a device that is on the MSK computer IP range. Once you are registered, you can then access your RefWorks account remotely (without having to VPN) from any device that has Internet access. Continue reading →

New Library Security Gate System at the Samuel J. Wood Library, Weill Cornell Medical College (WCMC)

Attention: MSK Library Users

Effective Tuesday, September 22, MSK staff who visits the Samuel J. Wood Library will need to have a special library-issued access card to enter and exit the library’s new gates during regular operating hours.

In order for MSK staff to obtain this access card from WCMC, they need to be registered or be an active user in their home-library system.  If you are not sure of your MSK Library status, don’t hesitate to ASK US!

In addition, WCMC have extended their hours of operation.

MSK staff should continue to go to their home library for research or literature requests, document delivery, or other services.
