The Library has recently added a comprehensive resource on tropical conditions: Hunter’s Tropical Medicine and Emerging Infectious Diseases. This 9th edition, which can be found on ScienceDirect and was purchased by request, features:

  • the latest maladies seen in returning travelers
  • the most up-to-date information on emerging and re-emerging diseases (such as H1N1)
  • a new skills-based section which includes dentistry, neonatal pediatrics and ICMI, and surgery in the tropics
