Make some New Friends… of Cancer Research

The Friends of Cancer Research-simply called the Friends-is a national group advocating for policies and solutions to get cancer treatments to patients in the safest and quickest way possible. Friends works closely with government agencies to improve health outcomes and cancer care through educational, policy, and scientific approaches.

The Friends website is full of helpful information for both patients as well as health professionals. There are also very detailed pages on the FDA and Regulatory Policy, clinical trials, and cancer centers in the country with an interactive map.

Friends can also be used as a news source and current awareness tool as the website contains many news items on breaking cancer research as well as conferences and other events in the field. Take a look at their newsfeed to sign up for their newsletter and follow them on Twitter @CancerResrch.
