Journal of Clinical Nursing is Now Available


The Library has recently purchased a license for Journal of Clinical Nursing. The Journal of Clinical Nursing (JCN) is an international, peer reviewed, scientific journal that seeks to promote the development and exchange of knowledge that is directly relevant to all spheres of nursing and midwifery practice.JCN publishes papers on issues related to clinical nursing, regardless of where care is provided. This includes – but is not limited to – ambulatory care, community care, family care, home, hospital, practice, primary and secondary, and public health.

CN is divided into two categories outlined below. Each category publishes 12 issues per year (one issue from each category is distributed jointly each month).JCN: Clinical nursing knowledge & interventions publishes scholarly papers relating to a range of themes within the context of clinical nursing, across all care sectors, care settings and countries. JCN: Professional roles, patients’ experiences & family participation publishes scholarly papers relating to a range of themes within the context of clinical nursing, across all care sectors, care settings and countries.

Pathology International is Now Available


The Library has recently purchased a license for Pathology International. Pathology International is the official English journal of the Japanese Society of Pathology, publishing articles of excellence in human and experimental pathology. The journal focuses on the morphological study of the disease process and/or mechanisms.

For human pathology, morphological investigation receives priority but manuscripts describing the result of any ancillary methods (cellular, chemical, immunological and molecular biological) that complement the morphology are accepted. Manuscript on experimental pathology that approach pathologenesis or mechanisms of disease processes are expected to report on the data obtained from models using cellular, biochemical, molecular biological, animal, immunological or other methods in conjunction with morphology.

Zebrafish is Now Available

 

 

The Library has recently purchased a license for Zebrafish. It is the only peer-reviewed journal to focus on the zebrafish, a prime model for genetic and developmental studies, as well as research in toxicology and genomics. The journal also includes research with other aquarium species such as medaka, Fugu, and Xiphophorus.

 

 

Zebrafish coverage includes:

  • Comparative genomics and evolution
  • Molecular/cellular mechanisms of cell growth
  • Genetic analysis of embryogenesis and disease
  • Toxicological and infectious disease models
  • Models for neurological disorders and aging
  • New methods, tools, and experimental approaches
