Study Guide for the Core Curriculum for Oncology Nursing is Now Available


The Library has recently purchased two print copies of Study Guide for the Core Curriculum for Oncology Nursing. The chapters parallel those presented in the Core Curriculum for Oncology Nursing, 4e. The number of questions in each chapter correspond with the percentage of questions on that particular topic included in the certification exam. Answers and rationales for correct and incorrect responses are listed at the end of each chapter. The book also includes an updated bibliography for each subject.

Check out the study guides on the Library’s New Books shelf (Call Number: WY 18.2 C7971 2005).  The Library also owns multiple copies of Core Curriculum for Oncology Nursing.  They are shelved on the regular book shelf with call number, WY 18.2 C797 2005.

Advanced Materials is Now Available


Advanced Materials is a weekly peer-reviewed scientific journal covering materials science. It includes Communications, Reviews, Progress Reports, and Feature Articles on topics in chemistry, physics, nanotechnology, ceramics, metallurgy, and biomaterials. It is one of the leading journals in materials science with an an Impact Factor of 13.877 in 2011. Frequent topics covered by the journal also include liquid crystals, semiconductors, superconductors, optics, lasers, sensors, mesoporous materials, shape memory alloys, light-emitting materials, magnetic materials, thin films, and colloids.

Open Access Theses Dissertations

Open Access Theses Dissertations (OATD) is an index of freely available graduate theses and dissertations published around the world. Records come from many colleges, universities, and research institutions. Here is the list of sites that contribute to this index.

OATD does not index or store the full text of the paper. It indexes about the first 30 pages of some theses in order to show search hits. The full text of all papers lives on the original hosting site. More information about this index can be found in their FAQ page.
