New Database! Clinical Pharmacology

The MSK Library has a new database, Clinical Pharmacology. This is a point-of-care drug information resource that provides answers to medication questions. Content is updated “live” to include newly released drug products and developments.  All clinical information is thoroughly researched and subject to a series of quality control checks. Clinical Pharmacology contains content on IV compatibility, toxicology, pediatrics/neonatal, oncology, drug class overviews, custom reports, patient drug and disease education, and more.

Thank you to the MSK Pharmacy department for their financial support in bringing this resource to the Center.

New Database: Certification Matters

The Library has added a new database, Certification Matters. This database, from the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), is for patients and their caregivers to learn about Board Certification and its importance to quality care. Certification Matters provides a free service for patients to check if a doctor is Board Certified by an ABMS Member Board. This database is not useful for finding a doctor, but to confirm a doctor’s certification status.
