Content Update: AAMC Faculty Salary Report
In 2023 the AAMC released its annual Faculty Salary Report in electronic format with no provision to offer a print version. AAMC is not currently offering an institutional subscription to this resource but online access is available to faculty and staff at member institutions for $50 from the AAMC Store. To receive the AAMC member discount, you can register using your MSK email for a free account on the AAMC website or login here if you are already registered.

Clarivate Adds Preprint Citation Index to the Web of Science

On 9 February 2023, Clarivate, a global leader in providing trusted insights and analytics, added the Preprint Citation Index to the Web of Science platform, streamlining the research process by allowing researchers to locate and link to preprints alongside other trusted content in the database.

The Preprint Citation Index will act as a bridge to connect cutting-edge preprints with peer-reviewed journal articles published within the Web of Science Core Collection.

New Database: LGBTQ+ Source

LGBTQ+ Source via EBSCOhost courtesy of METRO is the definitive database for LGBTQ+ studies. It provides scholarly and popular LGBTQ+ publications in full text, plus historically important primary sources, including monographs, magazines and newspapers. It also includes a specialized LGBTQ+ thesaurus containing thousands of terms.

LGBTQ+ Source includes 154 full-text journals not available in any version of Academic Search. The database also includes an LGBTQ+ thesaurus of more than 9,400 terms.

LGBTQ+ Source is accessible through the Library’s Database A-Z list.
