Thomson Reuters has recently released the 2013 Journal Citation Reports (JCR). JCR is an annual publication that offers a systematic, objective means to critically evaluate the world’s leading journals, with quantifiable, statistical information based on citation data. It provides a variety of impact metrics including the Journal Impact Factor and Eigenfactor from the Thomson Reuters citation indexes. The 2013 JCR covers more than 10,800 journals from over 2,550 publishers in approximately 232 disciplines.
