The British National Formulary Now Available via the Library Website!

The British National Formulary (BNF), published jointly by the British Medical Association and the Royal Pharmaceutical Society, is an essential reference providing up-to-date, practical guidance on prescribing, dispensing, and administering medicines.  The BNF aims to provide prescribers, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals with sound up-to-date information about the use of medicines. The BNF evaluates clinical evidence from diverse sources with information validated by a network of clinical experts.  It is published under the authority of a Joint Formulary Committee and reflects current best practice as well as legal and professional guidelines relating to the uses of medicines. The BNF can be accessed by searching MSKsearch or in our Journal A-Z listing.
