Workstation Express
At this workspace near the Reference area, library users can plug in their laptops and mobile devices. Outlets and ample counter space are available for quick stops (up to one hour). Please be respectful of others working nearby.
Laptops & iPads for Loan
We offer PC laptops and iPad Minis with keyboards for up to two hours. Borrowing is limited to MSK, WCMC, RUL and HSS library users with non-expired ID badges. Devices may not be removed from the library premises and must be returned at least 30 minutes prior to closing time.
Software installation and app downloads are not permitted. Files saved to the laptops are deleted regularly so users with MSK domain access should save their files to the network; all other users should bring their own USB drives for storage. Printing can be done but only from laptops connected to the MSK domain using an Ethernet cable. Internet access is available via "mskguests" and "mskwifi" with appropriate login information.

A charging station has been installed next to Workstation Express so that library users can charge their mobile devices. Cables are available for most Blackberries, Androids and iPhones. Please make sure that devices have been turned off or switched to silent before charging.
