New eBook — Modern Breast Cancer Imaging

Modern Breast Cancer Imaging has recently been added to the MSKCC Library’s collection. This text offers practical guidance on selecting the best imaging modality and provides decision-making support for the treatment and monitoring of breast cancer patients.

This book provides updated information on breast cancer, such as the modern molecular classification and staging, and demonstrates how imaging with pathologic correlation can be used in management decisions. In addition, it identifies the most suitable imaging modalities for screening, diagnosis, and monitoring for each clinical case.

New eBook: Molecular Diagnostics: Fundamentals, Methods and Clinical Applications

The Library has acquired a new eBook, entitled Molecular Diagnostics: Fundamentals, Methods and Clinical Applications. This text covers the fundamental principles of molecular biology, current methods, and their clinical applications, with a focus on the application of molecular concepts to diagnostic purposes and the use and interpretation of molecular-based assays in patient care.

This third edition now contains an expanded discussion of nucleic acid sequencing, with added emphasis on next generation sequencing (NGS), and updated coverage of proteomics and mass spectrometry applications.

New eBook: Bio-Engineering Approaches to Cancer Diagnosis and Treatment
