“Open in Action” – 2016 International Open Access Week

The Ninth International Open Access Week will be held October 24-30. This event and this year’s theme encourages all interested individuals to move from discussing what Open Access is, to taking action and making a conscious commitment to work in an environment that promotes and makes research transparent and accessible to all.

Open Access week began in 2007.  It continues to be an important event aimed at raising awareness of the benefits of an open access environment, as well as, demonstrating the value open access content provides to interested readers (from both the research community and the general public). The open access model has the potential to increase the exposure of research work and augment the overall advancement of scholarly communication around the World. Continue reading

Do you have the same name as someone else? Changed your name? Changed your affiliation? Wondering how to keep your prolific publications organized? By creating a unique ORCID iD number for yourself, you can make sure all your publications are attributed to the right you. The MSK Library is happy to help you register with ORCID and start building your ORCID profile to organize your work. Just ask us!

Take a Look at the NEW @SciImmunology!

Science Immunology is the latest journal from @aaas and it has recently been added to the MSK Library collection.  The journal aims to publish original, peer-reviewed, science-based research articles that report critical advances in all areas of immunological research, including important new tools and techniques. Submission of original research findings from all areas within the broad field of immunology from all model organisms, including humans, is encouraged.
