Formally recognized as National Nurses Day (May 6th) by the American Nurses Association in 1982, then National Nurses Week in 1990, every year the celebration begins on May 6 and ends on May 12, the birthday of Florence Nightingale.

• Rudin Awards Ceremony and Reception on May 9th in RRL Auditorium from 8am-10am
• Guest Speaker Pat Polansky, RN, MS:  IOM Report: “The Future of Nursing – Leading Change, Advancing Health” in M107 on May 9th from 1pm-2pm
• Nurses Week Night Dinner on May 10th in the West Dining Room from  6pm-8pm and 10pm-12am.

On Tuesday, May 15th, the Library will host a Search Strategy Walk-in Clinic at BAIC. If you have questions about conducting a search, stop by conference room 917B from noon-2pm and talk with a Reference Librarian.
