Celebrating National Nurses Week, May 6-12

Please join the MSK Library in congratulating our Nursing community!  Originally known as National Nurses Day (May 6th) and later as National Nurses Week, the American Nurses Association proudly honors our nurses across the nation while highlighting their extraordinary work and contributions to healthcare. This year’s theme is Nurses: Inspire, Innovate, Influence.

The MSK Library supports a number of campus-wide nursing programs such as the Nurse Residency Program and the Nursing Career Ladder (N-Care), as well as many other initiatives. Additionally, the Library provides access to databases supporting evidence-based practice like PubMed, CINAHL, Embase, Cochrane and Joanna Briggs.

For customized sessions on Library and Evidenced Based Practice resources, please contact your designated Research Informationist, Marisol Hernandez.

Hear from MSK colleagues about their experiences translating work into video articles published with JoVE, and how you can too!

To learn more about the event and speakers, see the flyer here.

This event is geared toward early career scientists in particular, but we’re confident any MSK researcher interested in learning about this newer mode of publication, will gain something from this event. Please join us Thursday, March 29 at 1:00 pm in M-107!
