New Feature in BrowZine: Multiple Bookshelves

BrowZine, a mobile app that allows you to browse MSK Library journal subscriptions, now has a new feature available to iOS users! You can save favorite journals on up to 4 different bookcases (with 4 shelves on each bookcase). This increases your ability to customize your reading experience. To add journals to your iPad for easy access, follow the instructions below:

  1. Download the app BrowZine or download the update to your iPad via the AppStore.
  2. Choose the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center as your library and login with your username and employee ID number.
  3. Tap on the icon for BrowZine library and browse the journals by Subjects: Biomedical and Health Sciences: Medical Specialties O-Z: Oncology.
  4. Scroll to the right under the Oncology category and tap on the journal Cancer (or choose another journal of your choice).
  5. Tap the button Add to My Bookshelf.
  6. Choose the Bookcase (there are 4 to choose from) and shelf (again, 4 to choose from) and drag the journal Cancer on to it.
  7. Notice that you do have the option to name Bookcases and shelves if you want to customize your collection further.

Please note that while the multiple bookshelf feature is only available for iOS for now, the app itself is available for Android and Kindle devices as well. Please let us know if you have any further questions. You can reach us at 212-639-7439 or asklibrarian@mskcc.org.
