NEW! Access Device Standards of Practice for #Oncology #Nursing from @OncologyNursing

The Library has recently added Access Device Standards of Practice for Oncology Nursing to our eBook collection by user request.  This text builds on the guidelines that the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) has established for the management of venous access devices (VADs).  In this new resource, ONS:

  • identifies practice standards
  • reviews the controversies in access device care
  • explores the range of devices currently available
  • details the advantages and disadvantages of each device, and
  • discusses the key legal ramifications concerning access devices and their management

We have recently added two new titles — contributed to by MSK staff — to our Library collection:
