New Journal! Cell Reports Medicine

Cell Reports Medicine is a new open-access journal published by Cell Press. The aims and scope are “publishing cutting-edge research in translational and clinical biomedical sciences that inform and influence human health and medicine.”

The journal publishes original research on topics and concepts such as translational studies, clinical trials, biomarker discovery, technologic advancements in healthcare, human biology, disease, and all phases of clinical work. This journal is now available via the Library’s OneSearch catalog.

New eBook: Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy Guidelines and Recommendations for Practice

The Library has added a new title, Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy Guidelines and Recommendations for Practice, from the Oncology Nursing Society.  This title is an update of the classic foundational volume, Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Guidelines and Recommendations for Practice. Topics include chemotherapy, immunotherapy, molecularly targeted agents, and hormone therapy.

This new volume provides information on “scope and standards, professional education, policies and procedures, antineoplastic medication safety, ethical and legal issues, and patient education.” This text also describes and references standards that oncology nurses should know.
