The International Journal of Medical Informatics, which is the is the official journal of the European Federation for Medical Informatics (EFMI), has recently been added to our library catalog and Journal A-Z list.  The journal provides an international medium for dissemination of original results and reviews related to the field of medical informatics.

The International Journal of Medical Informatics focuses on the evaluation of systems in healthcare settings and covers:

• Information systems;
• Computer-aided medical decision support systems;
• Educational computer based programs pertaining to medical informatics or medicine in general;
• Organizational, economic, social, clinical impact, ethical and cost-benefit aspects of information technology applications in health care.
