The June 29th deadline is fast approaching but there’s still time to apply for this unique and important funding opportunity!

The Provocative Questions Initiative supports research projects designed to solve specific problems and paradoxes in oncology, thereby stimulating areas of cancer research that are understudied, neglected, paradoxical, and/or have been difficult to address in the past. For fiscal years 2016 and 2017, the NCI intends to commit $15 million per year to fund 30-40 R01 awards and $5 million per year to fund 15-20 R21 awards.
