Springer now allows for easy downloading of eBooks onto your iPad or iPhone. Simply access the eBook through the MSK Library website and click on the Download eBook button. Note, this feature is not provided for reference titles, but only for general texts. Reference titles (e.g. the Springer Index of Viruses) are still limited to downloading one chapter at a time.

Here are the instructions:

1. Go to the MSK Library website on your iPad/iPhone.
2. In the MSKsearch box, enter the title of the Springer book you wish to access (e.g. Psychopharmacology in Oncology and Palliative Care). Tap the Search button.
3. Scroll down to the results labeled Book & eBooks. Tap on the link to the eBook you wish to access.
4. On the next page, click on the link that says Book.
5. On the Springer website, click on the blue button that says Download Book. Wait while the book loads (it may take a few seconds, depending on the size of the book).
6. The book has now been downloaded to your browser. To save the Book, tap on the PDF once and then quickly tap on the link in the top right of the page that says “Open in iBooks,” or whichever PDF reader you use.
