Importing References From Web of Science to RefWorks Has Been Enabled

Here are instructions for how to bring references from Web of Science into the RefWorks bibliographic management tool.

  1. Run a search in Web of Science
  2. Select the references to be imported into RefWorks by clicking the checkboxes to the left of the references
  3. Click on “Add to Marked List” located above the search results
  4. Click on “Marked List” at the top of the page
  5. On the next screen, for Step 2, select the fields you want included in the output
  6. For Step 3, from the drop-down menu, select “RefWorks”
  7. You will be prompted to log into RefWorks
  8. Once you have logged in, you will see the “Import completed” screen indicating the number of references which were imported
  9. On this screen, click on the  “View Last Imported Folder” link to see the references
