  • NPR’s Shots blog reported that gamers solved a mystery for scientists in AIDS research, also covered by Daily Scan
  • Search Engine Land reports that “soon” Facebook will allow users to turn wall posts into tweets, and also coming in the future, Flash on Apple iOS devices
  • The Cornflower shared that USA.gov is asking for feedback to improve federal websites until September 30th. If you use resources from NLM, NIH, etc. join the discussion by making suggestions or voting!
  • Technology Review describes how a microfluidics chip designed at Princeton mimics the way pathogens repond to antibiotics. The chip shows they evolve faster than previously believed and in predictable ways. 
  • And finally, congratulations to this year’s MacArthur Fellows, an inspiring group from many fields!
