What Does 4,383 Mean for MSK Authors?

This is the number of works published in 2017 that were added to the MSK publications database, Synapse.  This number (4,383) also represent an increase of 8% from the number of works added in 2016.  Welcome to the 2017 Synapse Publications Report! And feel free to check out our Archive Report page.

Our report highlights subject breadth and depth of works by our many authors. This year we have added a new section to illustrate MSK’s research collaboration by exploring 2017 research papers and all authors’ affiliations.
Synapse is a public facing resource and the authoritative bibliographic database developed and maintained by a skilled team of information professionals. Their ultimate goal is to track the wealth of knowledge attributed to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

I hope that browsing the 2017 Synapse Publications Report you’ll gain a sense of the contributions of our authors to the ever-growing body of scholarly literature. Your thoughts about this report would be welcomed — feel free to send me an email and let me know what you think!
