Grants for Oncology Nurses

Most oncology nurses are familiar with the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) as a professional organization dedicated to promoting “excellence in oncology nursing and quality cancer care.” Did you also know that it provides grant funds for a variety of purposes: research, training, career development, community service, support for conference attendance and travel. Most, but not all, require membership in ONS. The grants and awards can be identified on the website of the ONS Foundation, which has been funding oncology nurses since 1981. To date the ONS Foundation has awarded $22 million dollars. Application is online.
