A petition has been posted on the “We The People” page of the White House Website, urging the Obama Administration to implement public access policies similar to the NIH mandate for other federal funding agencies.

The goal is to collect 25,000 signatures and to date (as of  05/25, 11:24 am EST) there are 16,733 signatures.  Interested individuals have until June 19, 2012 to add their names.  If you agree with this recommendation, don’t delay —  add your name to the petition!

The main Library (located in the Rockefeller Research Laboratories Building) and the CyberLibrary Café (Zuckerman Research Center) will be closed on Monday, May 28, 2012 in observance of Memorial Day.

TEDMED is an annual conference focusing on health and medicine and is unlike any other medical meeting.  Attending just one session can change your perspective on what the future might bring!  Speakers and attendees come from all sectors of society to explore possibilities, share ideas, and ponder fresh insights.
