Web of Science has a new interface!

Along with a new look in January 2014, Web of Science has better functionality as well. With a different color palette and search box, the database has improved its retrieval model as well as filter and display settings.

The BASIC SEARCH is slightly different in that it defaults to one search field, though users are able to add more search boxes to string together more complex searches if desired. The ADVANCED SEARCH screen is visually similar to the old version while offering more detailed syntactical features for developing search strategies. For example, users can search for concept(s) as well as affiliations and/or authors related to said concept(s).
