The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) has issued a newly updated list of hazardous and antineoplastic drugs. The 2014 version of the document is in the public domain and can be downloaded, reprinted, and shared freely. The document strives to prevent occupational exposure to antineoplastic and other hazardous drugs in the healthcare setting.

The list of drugs document was first published in 2004 and was previously updated in 2010, and 2012. The 2014 list adds 27 drugs and includes a review of the 2004 list and the consequent removal of 12 drugs that did not meet the NIOSH criteria for hazardous drugs.
