Searching for Funding? Start Your Search with the Grants and Funding LibGuide
The Grants and Funding LibGuide was recently updated by the guide owner and MSK Reference Librarian, Isabel Sulimanoff.
This LibGuide provides a great starting point to available resources including a link to Research Technology and Management (link available to MSK staff only while on the network). This MSKCC department administers grant applications and awards.
From this LibGuide, you’ll be able to locate governmental and private grants and funding opportunities as well as a variety of databases and sources for the nursing community. In addition, funding RSS feeds have been set up and a selection of sources for grant writing tips has been showcased.
If you are aware of a funding source not cited, feel free to let us know.
New Sort Option in PubMed: Relevance
PubMed will soon offer a new sort option in the “Display Settngs” menu, in the “Sort by” column: Relevance. You will be able to sort search results by relevance as determined by an algorithm which analyzes how many times the search terms are found and in which fields they are found. See an example of the “Sort by Relevance” option here.
