AMEDEO sends you weekly updates of the current literature on a research topic of interest to you. Follow the steps below to set up a free literature alert.
- Select your topic: you can search for a topic using the search box located in the lower left-hand corner of the homepage, or you can choose the topic from the list on the homepage. Note that there is specifically an oncology section.
- Choose your favorite journal within the topic: check off each desired journal one by one from the populated list after selecting a topic.
- Fill out the form: the form appears to the left of the journal page. Be sure to click “submit” when finished.
You will now start receiving literature updates from the journals and topic you selected. You can also alter a search alert by clicking on the My AMEDEO link at the top of the homepage. As a security measure, you will be prompted to enter your e-mail address before viewing your alerts or making any changes.
AMEDEO is a helpful tool for staying up to date on a broad research topic. For more detailed research or specific topics, the Library offers a literature search service where we conduct the research for you, vet the articles retrieved, and send you only the most relevant references on your desired topic. Also, we set up alerts on your topic–if desired–and forward any updates to you via e-mail. Just fill out our Literature Search Form and a Librarian will be in contact with you within 24 hours regarding your request.
