MedlinePlus Connect is a free service which links patient portals and electronic health records (EHRs) to MedlinePlus.gov, the federal government’s authoritative, up-to-date health information resource for patients, families and health care providers.  MedlinePlus includes a wide range of health conditions and wellness issues and contains key resources to inform patients about their health.  An online demonstration is available at http://medlineplus.gov/connect.
