The 2011 edition of List of Serials Indexed for Online Users contains 14,351 serial titles, including titles currently indexed for MEDLINE, as well as titles which have ceased or changed names.

The list can be generated from the NLM [National Library of Medicine] Catalog.  Click on the “Limits” link.  Under “Journal Subsets,” click on the check box for “Journals currently or previously indexed in MEDLINE.”  Click on the “Search” button near the top of the page and you will retrieve 14,351 journal titles.  The default sort option is Publication Date, but you can re-sort by Title or Title Abbreviation by clicking on the “Display Settings” link near the top of the page on the left side.
