What’s New in EndNote X2?
EndNote X2 is now available. This resource is a bibliographic management tool used to help store and share references as well as support publishing research. MSK employees may request installation by contacting the Information Systems Help Desk at 646-227-3337.
EndNote X2 features several enhancements that make organizing your references and accessing full text articles easier than ever. Streamlined Online Search and Smart Group functions allow you to search databases and your EndNote X2 libraries in query groups, eliminating the risk of losing citations in your library.
The new Find Full Text feature automates the task of looking for full text by searching the MSKCC Library's online resources and downloading the full text PDF files to your computer, as well as creating links to your EndNote X2 library.
To learn more about EndNote X2, click on the link in the left hand navigation bar entitled Training & Tutorials, and select the letter E for EndNote or contact Reference Services should you have any specific questions. You can also review our EndNote Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs).
Register for an upcoming library information session on EndNote X2. Both basic and advanced workshops are being offered.
Other new EndNote X2 features include:
- Track new and updated features with the Auto Date Stamp; see when a reference was added to your library and when it was last updated
- Compress your EndNote library and attach it to an email automatically
- Use new reference types including Aggregated Database, Blog, Catalog, Pamphlet, Serial Publication and more
- Access more online resources and publishing styles
