EndNote X1 Now Available
Find Out What’s New With Endnote X1
EndNote X1 is now available. This resource is a bibliographic management tool used to help store and share references as well as support publishing research. MSK employees may request installation by contacting the Information Systems Help Desk at 646-227-3337. This new version introduces many new features to include the following:
- Group references for instant access - drag and drop references into subject folders for immediate access and create subsets of references within your EndNote Library
- Cite While You Write - locate citations and create bibliographies instantly while writing in Microsoft Word 2007
- Time-saving enhancements – view all authors for a reference in the main list display, and organize up to 45 files (.pdf, .ppt, graphic, etc…) per reference using the “file attachment” field
- Custom reference types– keep your reference format as you import or export your personal setting between computers
- Reference preview – display your active URLs for quick access to full text articles
To learn more about EndNote, click on the link in the left hand navigation bar entitled Training & Tutorials, and select the letter E for EndNote or contact Reference Services should you have any specific questions.
You can also register for an upcoming library information session on EndNote. Both basic and advanced workshops are being offered.
