UpToDate's New Web Design
The latest version of UpToDate, has a new, more user friendly, and easier to
read interface. MSK staff may only use this resource on campus in clinical work areas or at the Library's two locations.
UpToDate continues to provide new and revised content every four months, and covers more than 7,300 topics in 13 medical specialties with links to MEDLINE abstracts, more than 250,000 references, and a drug database.
Other notable features:
- Topic Contributors - view all individuals responsible for contributing content to the topic. This includes the Author(s), Section Editor with recognized expertise in the topic specialty, and in-house Deputy Editor, physician trained in the specialty being covered
- Feedback Bar - located at the bottom of the text field, users can provide feedback as to how well the information met their needs by clicking Yes or No and then providing additional information
- What's New - provides the user with a summary of changes in medicine, by specialty to include such areas as: drug therapy, gastroenterology and hepatology, hematology, oncology, patient information, pediatrics, and primary care internal medicine
